Decision of the RS Inspectorate requesting the University for Business Studies to annul the diploma of the Director of the Intelligence-Security Agency (OSA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a new attack on the Agency and director Osman Mehmedagić, the Agency said.
The Agency claims that Director Mehmedagić's diploma is valid, and that this was confirmed in several earlier checks that he had undergone during his career in the intelligence sector.
They added that OSA and Director Mehmedagić have been under constant attack by judicial and political centers that do not support the Agency's legitimate, professional and responsible work in fighting against crime and other activities directed against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.
“The attempt to discredit Director Mehmedagć and OSA BiH through the RS Inspectorate in this way is only a continuation of these attacks, and it is quite clear who is behind all this. Judicial institutions and inspections have the right to carry out verifications in accordance with the law, but no one has the right to put up any investigation that would discredit persons who oppose organized crime in BiH,” OSA stated.
