SARAJEVO, August 15 (FENA) – Principal Deputy High Representative and Brčko District Supervisor Michael Scanlan met today with Republika Srpska National Assembly Speaker Nedeljko Čubrilović and NDP President Dragan Čavić as part of regular visits to Banja Luka to continue consultations and dialogue.
Scanlan took the opportunity to discuss with his interlocutors the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the process of state-level government formation.
“I urge BiH political leaders to focus on efforts to move the country forward. Establishing government at the state level is crucial for the country's progress and for the necessary reforms. The opportunity to form a Council of Ministers on the basis of a compromise acceptable to all should not be missed,” said Scanlan, the OHR said.
