SARAJEVO, August 14 (FENA) - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) believes the only solution to overcoming current setbacks in the Euro-Atlantic integration process and establishing a new Council of Ministers convening is the adoption of a modified Annual National Program (ANP).
“The ANP, whose content will satisfy all parties in BiH, and whose implementation will be credible, should be adopted without delay. It is a legal obligation, but also part of the agreement signed by party leaders of the SDA, HDZ and SNSD,” SDA said.
They point out that if he rejects a compromise solution, Dodik will show that he does not respect the state level Principles for Government Formation that he has signed, and will be fully responsible for any consequences that will arise.
“His announcement that he will attempt to challenge the jurisdiction of the Armed Forces, SIPA, the judiciary and other institutions with the decision of the entity assembly is a direct blow to the Constitution and a threat to stability and peace in BiH. It must also be the most serious alarm to the OHR and members of the Peace Implementation Council, in order to alert their governments and the UN Security Council in a timely manner and prevent anti-Dayton activities.
If Dodik decides to embark on a grave violation of the Constitution and law, it will lead the country into a state of chaos and the biggest crisis since Dayton to date, and it will surely threaten stability in BiH and the region. The consequences of such a development would be dire for everyone, but Dodik must be aware that it is he who will draw the thicker end of all this,” the SDA said.
