MOSTAR, August 14 (FENA) – Crisis Management Committee of Aluminij d.d. Mostar reported that the company's management presented draft systematization for the first phase, namely smelter and relevant services related to workplaces, at today's Committee meeting in Mostar.
They also submitted a restructuring plan including all three phases with implementation dynamics.
Crisis Management Committee stresses out that preparatory activities are currently being carried out according to the analysis performed to start the smelter.
The first phase is defined as the preparatory phase for creating preconditions for continuation of operation of other plants in the second and third phase.
"First phase also includes creating preconditions for implementing outplacement of one part of employees through the model of pensions and severance pay. The implementation of the first phase will be defined through working activities for 350 employees, and process of implementation of financial consolidation will be used to create preconditions for running of other plants through a sustainable business model," said Aluminij Crisis Management Committee.
They also confirmed that they are working intensively to bind work experience for all employees.
After meetings with union representatives, a working meeting was held with representatives of potential investors who have already initiated “due diligence” analysis, it is stated in the announcement.
