SARAJEVO, August 13 (FENA) - The Civil Service Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina alone issued 429 Competitions calls for authorities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018, which identified the need for 805 vacancies. During that period, the Agency considered 16,829 applications.
Agency Director Refik Begić told FENA that the Agency, in the course of conducting the competition procedure, informed in writing all candidates about the status of the application and each stage of the competition.
He noted that, in accordance with the by-laws issued by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and on the proposal of the Civil Service Agency, the procedure and shortcuts were made possible for the candidates who applied for competitions.
“Namely, candidates applying for competition call in the Civil Service of the Federation of BiH are sufficient to submit only a duly completed application form, unless the candidate has passed the professional administrative examination for work in the civil service, but even then a certificate or certificate of work experience in the profession. This examination, i.e. the general knowledge examination in accordance with the Law, is conducted in the competition procedure and does not require any costs for the candidate himself,” explained Begić, referring to media headlines on how much money is needed to apply for a job competition in the civil service.
Begić states that only candidates who successfully pass the competition procedure and are on the list of successful candidates are obliged to submit evidence of fulfillment of the requirements of the public competition, except for the evidence of medical fitness or medical certificate provided by the selected candidate when taking office.
