SARAJEVO, August 13 (FENA) - This year's Reconnect conference in Sarajevo, which is organized by Restart with the support of the USAID project Diaspora Invest, a special session will be held to bring together representatives of service-oriented companies to spread ideas on association through the Association of Business Service Leaders in BiH.
“We decided to take the opportunity to gather entrepreneurs from BiH through Reconnect, bring together diasporas and countries and present the Platform of Business Leaders Association (ABSL) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We will hold a special meeting with representatives of the company that shares the interests on August 15, when we will use the foundations and strategy of future action in this case,” said the Association of Business Services (ABSL) in BiH.
The company's export-oriented services sector is growing more than 10 percent annually in terms of both the number of employees and the company's revenue. Nearly 15,000 employees work in this sector in BiH. These are about fifteen important occupations and business activities that can be deployed, from EU examples, to Bosnia and Herzegovina as business services to be operated from BiH.
In relation to the region, BiH has a naturally large portion of young people who have sufficient knowledge of English or German that could easily and quickly be engaged in the industry. Most importantly, BiH has the potential to create 2,000 to 3,000 jobs a year in the area.
