MOSTAR, August 9 (FENA) – The Croatian National Assembly (HNS), in accordance with the adopted guidelines of political party leaders, calls on the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to hold urgent sessions to appoint a candidate for the future formation of BiH Council of Ministers.
HNS emphasizes that it is necessary to initiate a process of formation of government and normal functioning of all institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily the Council of Ministers of BiH, as well as the functional work of the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
In addition to the progress, the Croatian National Assembly urges ongoing cooperation and dialogue, political reflection, and a willingness to make joint efforts to overcome all economic, security and other challenges in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
HNS also welcomes the efforts to approximate policies, implement consistent policies and comply with the Constitution and laws.
In order to urgently address all outstanding issues and crises in BiH, the HNS is committed to respecting the views and interests of the constituent peoples and all other citizens. Apart from securing stability, we must continue the reform processes and accelerate the process of receiving a candidate status, as well as BiH's full membership in the EU.
HNS appeals for responsible implementation of the principles for the formation of government of future partners at the state level, and recalls that the agreed 30-day deadline is already slowly flowing, the HNS Information Office said.
