BANJA LUKA, August 7 (FENA) - Representatives of the informal group Justice for David announced today that they will not give up the search for the truth over the fate of David Dragičević (21), even if it takes another 500 days, because there is no progress in the investigation.
Today is exactly 500 days since the gathering of truth-seekers in this case began, pointing out that institutions are up-to-date only when it is necessary to “punish and sanction them”.
On behalf of this group, Ozren Perduv points out that the institutions have not yet deviated from the version that was released to the public 500 days ago.
“The only ones who suffered were David's parents, as well as the people who stood by them and expressed support. Arrests, recordings, informational conversations, misdemeanor and criminal charges, assembly bans... all of this was done by the RS authorities just because we did not accept their version of events and allow us to serve obvious falsehoods. We endured it all. We are still here after 500 days,” Perduv told reporters at Krajina Square, where the first gatherings began.
Among the small “victories” during these 500 days, members of the group point out the recognition that the RS MUP press conference of March 26 last year was a mistake, the recognition that there was no inspection of the allegedly robbed house, and the recognition that David was not a drug addict, as claimed by the then RS president and the current interior minister.
