SARAJEVO, August 5 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić sent a letter of condolence to the United States President Donald Trump over the massacre and deaths of the citizens in this country in the attacks in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio, the BiH Presidency stated.
“Excellency, on behalf of the Presidency and the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and myself, I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest condolences to you, the American people, and especially to the families and friends of those killed in the attacks in El Paso and Dayton.
These heinous and senseless acts of violence deserve the harshest punishment and remind us how precious and fragile each life truly is. Extreme ideologies deserve every form of condemnation and we in Bosnia and Herzegovina will make a full contribution to the fight against terrorism,” said Komšić.
In his letter, Komšić expressed solidarity and support to the American people in these difficult times, as the American people have always empathized and supported the peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina on numerous occasions in the past.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the friends and families of those killed, and we wish all the injured a speedy and successful recovery,” stated the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
