SARAJEVO, August 4 (FENA) - The Federation of BiH last year collected in total 624,658 tons of municipal waste, which is 0.1 percent more than the previous year.
Of the total amount, the largest amount of collected municipal waste was mixed waste (550,703 tons), and the least amount was 16,799 tons of packaging waste.
In 2018, the landfills in FBiH received 583,382 tons of communal waste, stated the FBiH Statistics Institute.
Annual reports are submitted by public utility and other waste collection and disposal companies, as well as waste management companies.
