BANJA LUKA, August 4 (FENA) - The indirect tax revenues in the seven months of 2019 amounted to 4 billion and 558 million KM, and were higher by 292 million KM or 6.84 percent compared to the same period in 2018, when they amounted to four billion and 266 million KM, stated the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ITA BiH).
After ITA paid back 882 million KM in VAT refunds into the economy, net revenues collected in the seven months of 2019 that went to the state, the entities and Brčko District amounted to 3 billion and 676 million KM and were higher by 200 million KM compared to the revenue received from the Single Account by users in the same period in 2018.
The amount of 432 million KM has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in the seven months of 2019. The Federation of BiH received two billion and 57 million KM, Republika Srpska received one billion and 48 million KM, and Brčko District received 112 million KM.
On the basis of a special excise tax for motorways construction and building and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 115.5 million KM, the entity of RS received 76.3 million KM and Brčko District received 3.9 million KM.
