Police takes measures after threats against imam from Bosanski Novi

BOSANSKI NOVI, July 31 (FENA) - Police officers at the Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi Police Station, under the supervision of the Prijedor District Public Prosecutor's Office, are taking all necessary measures and acts to solve the criminal offense of endangering the safety of a Blagaj Japra religious official in Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi.

The case refers to Emir effendi Nuhić, an imam from Bosanski Novi, who received threatening messages on Facebook on March 17 and 18 this year, and again on July 29 from the same person.

In previous and new messages, death threats, insults and cusses have been sent to the imam.

Police say the imam reported threats to the Novi Grad/Bosanski Novi police station.
