SARAJEVO, July 22 (FENA) - Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Saša Magazinović sent an open letter to members of the BiH Presidency, in which he positively assessed their decision to request from Croatia to locate radioactive and nuclear waste at the Trgovska Gora.
He says that so far very little has been done regarding the issue, and he believes that the leadership that would take over the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in solving this problem meant that we could achieve the synergistic effect of all the individual actors and activities they take, from the local community to the state.
On behalf of the parliamentary Green Club, he thanked the BiH Presidency for its unanimous conclusions regarding the prevention of intentions of nuclear and radioactive waste being disposed of and stored in “our backyard”.
