Remains of six victims found in Hrtar Grad in Višegrad

SARAJEVO, July 19 (FENA) - Under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and at the order of the Court of BiH, at the site of Hrtar Grad in Višegrad municipality, an exhumation was completed during which remains of at least six persons were found.

The deceased remains will be referred to further judicial-medical treatment and sampling to identify through DNA analysis the identity of the remains.

During the entire exhumation process, workers from the Special Department for War Crimes were present at the site and coordinated the work of all authorized officials who participated in the exhumation process, which was carried out with the help of construction machinery and mechanization.

Preliminary information indicates that the remains belong to Bosniak victims in the area of ​​Višegrad and accurate and detailed information on the identity of the persons will be available only after the DNA analysis and identity verification has been completed, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH said.
