SARAJEVO, July 17 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Member Šefik Džaferović received non-resident Ambassador of Sultanate Oman Ahmad bin Salim bin Mohammed Baomar in an inaugural visit.
During the talks, the friendly relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sultanate of Oman were highlighted, as well as the need to raise the political and economic cooperation of the two countries to a much higher level than the present one.
It has been concluded that economic cooperation does not sufficiently follow good political relations.
The need for exchanges of economic delegations has been highlighted, given that there is room for improvement of cooperation in a large number of economic sectors, especially in the fields of tourism and agriculture.
Džaferović wished to Ambassador Baomar, whose headquarters are in Rome, a successful diplomatic mission, and expressed the expectation that through his engagement, they would contribute to the development of relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sultanate of Oman, the BiH Presidency said.
