SARAJEVO, July 16 (FENA) - Supreme Allied Commander for Europe (SACEUR), General Tod D. Wolters said today, during his visit to Sarajevo that NATO and the Command headed are looking for opportunities for further intensification and deepening of military cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
General Wolters, after the meeting with top officials of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH, pointed out that in 2019, the two sides implemented a number of joint activities.
He expressed content with the achieved level of cooperation, as well as the planned activities that will follow in 2020, underlining the willingness to invest new energy in cooperation with the BiH Armed Forces.
General Wolters praised the BiH AF engagement in peacekeeping operations, especially in the operation in Afghanistan, where more than 60 AF members are currently deployed.
