BANJA LUKA, July 16 (FENA) - The RS Minister of Local Self-Government Lejla Rešić today rejected “the accusations of the State Public Administration Reform Coordinator in BiH, Dragan Ćuzulan that the RS government continues to deliberately block the process of public administration reform.”
“The RS government is not against the reform, but it does not agree with the current concept, which has proved to be ineffective. For all these years, we have embarked on administrative changes, because in the last two or three years of operation we only funded computer training. This is not a reform," she told reporters in Banja Luka.
She assessed that the Public Administration Reform Fund in Bosnia and Herzegovina has not fulfilled its purpose and that “it formally and legally stopped existing by the end of 2017.”
Rešić says that RS is committed to the public administration reform, but to her, the manner of distribution of money from the Public Administration Reform Fund is also unacceptable. She said that “the fund should function based on a different concept.”
