Šiljegović receives newly appointed EUFOR Commander in BiH

SARAJEVO, July 5 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Parliamentary Military Commissioner Boško Šiljegović received today the newly appointed EUFOR Commander in BiH, Major General Reinhard Trischak on an inaugural visit.

Šiljegović informed the Commander about the activities of the BiH Parliamentary Military Commissioner's Office in the past year as well current activities, including the preparation of the 11th World Conference on Armed Forces Ombudsmen.

The conference will be held in Sarajevo in late October this year.

General Trischak showed interest in parliamentary oversight of the defense and security sector in BiH and expressed the wish to continue and improve the successful co-operation of the EUFOR Mission with the BiH Parliamentary Military Commissioner's Office and the members of the BiH Defense and Security Committees.
