SARAJEVO, July 3 (FENA) – The FBiH Minister for Issues of Veterans and Disabled Persons in the Defense and Liberation War Salko Bukvarević urged MPs to urgently adopt the law on rights of demobilized soldiers and members of their families and reminded that the ultimatum they gave both houses of the Parliament expired today.

They requested the adoption of the drafted law that could be enforced as soon as July.

“In this situation, representatives of the Ministry, the Government and the fighters reached a compromise after a long time and offered a joint text of the law to the FBiH Parliament. That is why I urge all MPs to put this issue in the top priority and urgently solve it,” said Bukvarević.

He called for a session of both Houses of Parliament on the same day and the adoption of the draft law on the rights of demobilized soldiers, as well as the rebalance of the FBiH budget, as it provided 25 million KM for the implementation of this law.

Along with the proposed text of the law, both Houses of the FBiH Parliament are expected to adopt five initiatives to amend the law regulating the rights of the demobilized soldiers and members of their families, namely the Health Insurance Act, Labor Law, Social Protection Act, Law on Pension and Disability Insurance of FBiH, and Cantonal Laws on Supplementary Rights of Demobilized Soldiers and Members of Their Families.
