SARAJEVO, July 2 (FENA) – The School of Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo will hold on July 4 a series of meetings and events within the project “Women in Business”, which is financed by IPA Funds of the Danube Transnational Program.
The main goal of the project is to encourage young women of the Danube region who have an idea or want to become entrepreneurs and launch their own business or achieve market success. This three-day event will be marked by several activities of which the most significant is the opening of the first Center for Support to Entrepreneurs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The opening of the Center, which is located at the School of Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo, is helped by IPA Funds and realized with the help of the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency (SDC) within the Youth Employment Project, said the School of Economics and Business.
The opening will be followed by the presentation of the publication “Women entrepreneurship – overview and recommendations for the future”, which was produced as a result of research within the project “Women in Business”.
The leading partner of the project is the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Varna from Bulgaria and the partner from BiH is the School of Economics and Business of the University of Sarajevo.
Representatives of Croatia, Slovenia, Moldova, Austria, Germany, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary are also participating in the project.
