SARAJEVO, June 24 (FENA) - Member of the Central Committee of the Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) and deputy in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Jelena Trivić assessed that there is no reason that the permission for a peaceful gathering of citizens should be denied, announced on Thursday, June 27 at the Krajina Square in Banja Luka.
“We have submitted a request in accordance with the regulations and there is no reason for the gathering to be denied,” said Trivić.
She added that Republika Srpska Interior Minister Dragan Lukač does not have any reason to create tensions in public.
Three deputies in the RS National Assembly - Jelena Trivić, Draško Stanivuković and Nebojša Vukanović announced a peaceful gathering of citizens on June 27 in Banja Luka's Krajina Square.
The main reason for the gathering is the situation in Banja Luka and the restriction of citizens' rights and freedoms, said a PDP statement.
