SARAJEVO, June 20 (FENA) - The statement by the BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik that the blocking of the state institutions is damaging to the international reputation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is an expression of utter cynicism, since Dodik himself did everything in his power to enforce the blockade, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) said in a statement.
By enforcing obstructions and preventing the work of the Parliamentary Assembly, SDA stresses, Dodik and his party have been deliberately preventing the appointment of the BiH delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for months.
“The SNSD decided to block the work of the PA BiH which consequently prevents all other parties who want to appoint a delegation to the Council of Europe. The deadline for the appointment is June 24. This represents an impermissible isolationist and pestilent policy that. SNSD is ready to sacrifice the interests of the state and openly attacks its international reputation,” it was said in the SDA statement.
