Krišto: Resumption of emergency session to be scheduled soon

FENA Hana Imamović

SARAJEVO, June 18 (FENA) - Chairperson of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto (Croat Democratic Union - HDZBiH) will schedule continuation of an emergency session of the House, after the Collegium failed to agree on the agenda of the session, but it will not be scheduled this week.

Explaining the legal procedure in this sense, she noted that the agenda of the session, which only included two items, migration and situation in judiciary, was not adopted, after which three-member Collegium of the House was supposed to agree on it.

That was done today, but regardless of the fact that Krišto and deputy chairs of the House Denis Zvizdić and Nebojša Radmanović did not agree, the House will need to vote on the agenda in the second round of vote.

When it comes to formation of competent parliamentary committees which should consider certain bills, Collegium has done that, Krišto confirmed, but these working bodies of the state parliament still have not been formed.

Therefore the Collegium will send a memo to all political representatives and caucuses in the House of Representatives to hold talks as soon as possible and establish executive bodies to create assumptions for the legislative authority to start operating in full capacity.
