A few hundred migrants relocated to Vučjak location

BIHAĆ, June 16 (FENA) – A few hundreds of migrants have been relocated to the new locations of Vučjak, around ten kilometers from the center of Bihać.

Ministry of Interior of Una-Sana Canton (USC) is implementing the decision of the Bihać City Council and Cantonal Operational Group on relocation of migrants and refugees who were residing around the temporary camp "Bira", or were illegally accommodated in certain private or abandoned facilities.  

“We relocated people who were staying in small tents in public surfaces in the city without any conditions or in private facilities without identification documents. There is also a group of people who were causing incidents and disturbing public peace and order. We secured tents, water, food and hygienic supplies for them at the Vučjak location,” said Spokesperson of USC MoI Ale Šiljdedić.

Citizens of Bihać announced great protests on social media at the City Square in Bihać, even though the gathering has not been reported to the Police Administration. They stated that reasons for protest is violated security and health situation in the city and the fact that competent state institutions are completely ignoring the situation.
