BIHAĆ, June 14 (FENA) - The Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs has begun implementing the decision of the Bihać City Council and the Cantonal Operational task Force on relocation of migrants and refugees to the Vučjak location.

Police officers have already transported a group of 135 migrants who have been illegally staying in private accommodation in downtown Bihać.

“We are doing this in order to improve the security situation in Bihać, and we have already transferred the first group of migrants to Vučjak. During the day we will continue with these activities and I hope that today and tomorrow we will accommodate all the people who stayed around the temporary reception center "Bira" to Vučjak. We have secured tents, clean water, meals and medical assistance to these people,” stated the Minister of the Interior of the USC Nermin Kljajić.

He also referred to the incidents that occurred in the past few days in Bihać, and stressed the maximum preparedness and focus of police officers on keeping the security situation under control.
