Jukić: Justice officials are being taken by foreign nationals to their embassies

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, June 11 (FENA) - Ružica Jukić, Vice-president of the BiH High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, said that the BiH Presidency member Komšić was probably "confused and not really focused while reading her address to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina".

“I did not ask for his opinion whether the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina has the support of "citizens" and foreign nationals in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but I was giving them information that high judicial officials of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina are being taken by foreign nationals to their embassies into the so-called rubber and glass rooms, where they, under special treatment, instruct them on what needs to be done, whom to appoint, whom to prosecute and who should be convicted and the like. This was the essence of the information I provided,” says Jukić.

She added that it was not her intention to get informed by anyone, let alone by Komšić, about the legality of the support she has asked for the HJPC.

“It would be an indiscretion on my part and also cynical to address him and ask for an opinion on the support of the people, religious communities and the like. He has become a symbol of unprincipled support for the function he performs,” said Jukić.

She also claims that she “expected from one of the most loud patriots in the media to show interest and ask for an investigation into the fact that the leading judicial officials judicial in the state headed by him, although with questionable legitimacy, are being taken to foreign embassies.”

“This shameful meddling into the affairs and a humiliation of the state in which the embassies are only guests was just an open secret so far. These rooms of rubber and glass just represent a final proof, to see how far everything has gone. Of course, I do not expect support from the owners of these rooms,” Jukić said.

Furthermore, she said that “the European Commission will also be informed on the matter, and that she has so far, persistently avoided talking to foreign media, to give interviews and explain all that has been going on.”

“I respect the duty I perform and respecting the position of the members of the BiH Presidency, I addressed them. It is obvious that Komšić and I do not share the same view of the sovereignty of the state in which we hold office. He approves of the rubber and glass rooms, I do not. Perhaps in his vassal mentality, tomorrow he might approve that foreign embassies take us to their countries for brainwashing and return us to work for their interests,” said, among other things, the Vice-President of the HJPC BiH, Ružica Jukić.
