SARAJEVO, May 19 (FENA) – New government, regardless when it will be formed, will have much better preconditions for work than our government had, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Federation of BiH Jelka Milićević told FENA.
She emphasized a lot has been done regarding laws which regulate financial management, control and supervision of public resources, improvement of credit standing for big investment projects, and there is a tendency of revenue growth which is related to increase of employment.
“There were total of 531.492 of employees on 30th April. Federation never had this number of employees before. Republic of BiH had 631 000 employees in 1991, and the Federation only has 84 percent of that number today,“ emphasized Milićević.
Speaking about the new Reform Agenda, FBiH Minister of Finance said that that so far three preparatory meetings have been held with a very wide circle of participants.
“Reform Agenda requires clear commitments of all political factors in BiH and on all levels of government. I would say we defined that part together and the next step is to form a government on the level of BiH and in the Federation, and then we will be able to start detailed definition of the Reform Agenda, making action plans and assuming commitments according to those action plans,“ Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Federation of BiH Jelka Milićević told FENA.
