BANJA LUKA, May 19 (FENA) - Republika Srpska does not accept membership of Bosnia and Herzegovina in NATO, but it can accept a certain plan of cooperation with NATO and everything that is potentially agreed with this military alliance will be returned to the RS National Assembly for verification and approval, said Chair of the BiH Presidency and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik today.
He gave an example of possible cooperation with NATO, such as presence of Armed Forces of BiH in missions in Afghanistan and similar activities.
“Standard is what NATO has in Serbia and we will definitely not go beyond that. We will not accept any document which can be interpreted as a path to membership to NATO,“ stated Dodik in Banja Luka.
He emphasized this BiH entity has assembly resolution on military neutrality and that stance will not change.
