Borenović: PDP wants to be a serious alternative to current government in RS

BANJA LUKA, May 19 (FENA) - Party of Democratic Progress (PDP) wants to be a serious alternative to the current government in Republika Srpska (RS) and deal with all challenges responsibly, said president of the party Branislav Borenović.

“It is very important to gather parties with same political views,” said Borenović after session of the PDP Main Board, where they unanimously accepted agreements on integrated political activities with Serb Radical Party and Free Srpska.

Borenović repeated that priorities of PDP this year remain amendments to the Election Law and decision on parliamentary surveillance of public broadcasters owned by RS.

Main Board of PDP called winners of the elections to form the executive authority on level of BiH institutions.

PDP Assembly will be held on September 28, where the new main board and president of the party will be elected and key program and statutory documents adopted, and which will mark 20 years of PDP.
