SARAJEVO, May 19 (FENA) - Eight members of the Main Board of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina were expelled from the party at yesterday's session of the board.
Expelled members are Zlatko Lagumdžija, Ivo Komšić, Miro Lazović, Emir Zlatar, Hakija Meholjić and Meliha Lekić for being in the Initiative Board of Social Democratic Movement and later of SDP (Social Justice and Democracy).
Zoran Mikulić and Rusmir Mesihović were expelled for accepting positions of adviser of member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić, who is also a leader of the Democratic Front (DF).
Miro Lazović and Rusmir Mesihović were also vice presidents of the party, whereas Zoran Mikulić was member of SDP Presidency.
There were 67 delegates who voted for this decision, 10 were against and two abstained.
None of the eight aforementioned persons attended the session.
