SARAJEVO, May 16 (FENA) – Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić met yesterday with Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to BiH Eldar Hasanov.
They talked about enhancing bilateral relations between BiH and Azerbaijan. Ambassador Hasanov reminded of the Summit of Non-aligned Movement, which will take place in the capital city of Azerbaijan Baku on 25-26 October this year. He said he is pleased with cooperation between the two countries in areas of tourism, investments, culture and education.
Hasanov also emphasized numerous prepared bilateral agreements between BiH and Azerbaijan, which will be signed in the upcoming period.
They also talked about status of investments of Azerbaijani companies in Doboj and Srebrenica and possibilities to expand activities in agriculture, engineering and tourism.
Member of the BiH Presidency reminded that Sarajevo and Baku were among the first cities to sign cooperation agreement during the seventies in the last century, Presidency of BiH stated.
