SARAJEVO, May 10 (FENA) - It is necessary to promote solutions for improving the business climate in BiH, it was concluded today at the meeting of the President and CEO of the FBiH Employers Association Adnan Smailbegović and Mladen Pandurević with Ambassador of Great Britain to BiH Matthew Field.
Representatives of the Association presented the "20 + 5 + 6 Initiative" with the aim of relieving the burden of the economy and improving the business climate in FBiH and the country as a whole, which has been supported by the majority of votes at a thematic session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament held in mid-April this year.
The adoption of the "20 + 5 + 6 Initiative " will result in a reduction of the gray economy and improvement of fiscal discipline, reducing unemployment, increasing salaries and investments, raising the competitiveness of the domestic economy, simplifying and speeding up of administrative procedures, as well as reducing the cost of doing business.
Ambassador Field commended the positive activities of the Association, and stressed that he supports the efforts of the FBiH Parliament’s House of Representatives to improve the business climate in the country.
They jointly agreed that it is in the public interest to continue with the reforms, and that the involvement of all stakeholders in this process is more than necessary, regardless of political party affiliation or partisan interests.
