Bishop expresses support to BiH in battling all security challenges

SARAJEVO, April 28 (FENA) – Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States Vaughn Bishop expressed his support to BiH in battling all security challenges and threats it is faced with and emphasized that CIA will continue supporting agencies in BiH through data exchange.

Within his official visit to BiH, Bishop met with Director General of the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH (OSA) Osman Mehmedagić, who agreed they were pleased with strong partnership between the two agencies and agreed on enhancing cooperation regarding all issues of mutual interest.

After the meeting Bishop attended a working lunch with the U.S. Ambassador to BiH Eric Nelson, Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić, Director of the State Investigation and Protection Agency Perica Stanić, Deputy Director of BiH Border Police Fahrudin Halač, Director of Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies Mirsad Vilić, Director of Service for Foreigners’ Affairs Slobodan Ujić, Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska Dragan Lukač, Minister of Interior of the Federation of BiH Aljoša Čampara, Chief of RS Police Darko Ćulum and acting director of the FBiH Police Administration Ensad Korman, OSA stated.
