Dodik and Džaferović meet with Vice President of Turkey

SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik and Member of the BiH Presidency Šefik Džaferović met yesterday with Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay.

Members of the BiH Presidency informed Vice President Oktay that BiH has reached consensus on route of Sarajevo-Belgrade motorway and they used the opportunity to thank the Republic of Turkey for helping these two cities connect faster by building a road through Turkish financing and interest of Turkish construction companies to get engaged and complete construction fast.

Members of the BiH Presidency also thanked Vice President Oktay for decision of Government of the Republic of Turkey to approve duty free import of 15.000 tons of meat and meat products from BiH within assistance to BiH after floods in 2014.

In this context, Vice President Oktay underlined that Turkey expects ratification of the revised Agreement on Free Trade between BiH and the Republic of Turkey to happen soon, which would enable trade exchange between the two friendly countries which could soon reach exchange of more than a billion U.S. dollars, Presidency of BiH underlined.
