MOSTAR, 9 April (FENA) - China is ready to cooperate with Bosnia and Herzegovina and, under the leadership of the representatives of the two countries, will enhance economic cooperation in all areas, it was noted at the press conference in Mostar after the opening of the 22nd International Economy Fair that gathered exhibitors from thirty countries of the world.
Director of the Mostar Fair, Dalfina Bošnjak, pointed out that the representatives of the People's Republic of China, the country partner of this year's fair, said they wanted to cooperate with BiH, but also with the countries of the region and beyond, and that at this fair they plan to intensify talks with the representatives of BiH companies.
Vice President of China's International Trade Promotion Council Zhang Shenfeng said that the leaders of China and BiH agreed in 2018 that China would be the partner country of this year's fair, pointing out that the exhibition area of China extends to 2000 square meters with representatives from companies from different branches of the economy.
“We are ready to cooperate with the competent institutions in BiH under the leadershipof the two countries and to improve cooperation in all areas of economy, such as trade, infrastructure, etc.,” said Shenfeng.
He added that he would encourage Chinese companies to increase their imports from BiH, but also to open their factories in BiH.
“We hope that together, with these activities, we will establish platforms for further cooperation and that in this way we will contribute to the economic development of BiH as well as the quality of life of its citizens,” said Vice President of China's International Trade Promotion Council Zhang Shenfeng.
