SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) - Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH Fadil Novalić stated in Sarajevo yesterday that Government of FBiH has pointed out tax reform over the last four years as the necessary activity, whose main aim is growth of employment, growth of GDP and social balance.
Addressing at the opening of the two-day Roundtable on "Reorganization of Tax Administrations through Influential Management", Novalić said that strong tax administration and developed tax collection system are basis of every stable economy, but also of social balance which is highly needed in our society.
"Reform in the Federation of BiH needs to include several areas, and priority needs to be reduction of economy levies, fair competition in the market, establishment of a clear, long-term, fair, sustainable and existent legal framework and more efficient activities by taxation bodies, but also courts and prosecutions," said Novalić.
He emphasized the FBiH Government will do everything in its power for the Tax Administration to achieve its basic goal, which is to be a fair, rational and efficient in collecting public revenue, and to continue developing a concept of volunteer reporting of tax commitments and reduction of tax evasion.
Roundtable was organized within the Training Program in area of tax policy and administration, which is implemented by the Finance Development Center from Ljubljana.
