BANJA LUKA, April 4 (FENA) – Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik stated today that influx of illegal migrants who entered BiH is over three times higher during three months of this year than last year.
He added this shows that action plans regarding this problem should be improved, and not in sense of repression but in the sense of protecting this area.
He said that the RS police will work on that as well.
"Police of RS is proof of our existence and security, it should be trained and cooperate with security structures in BiH, Serbia and beyond in fight against terrorism," said Dodik.
He said that training and equipment of police needs to be better and he rejected attacks against RS MoI.
"No one can demean a police officer," said Dodik addressing at the celebration of April 4, RS Police Day.
Minister of Interior of RS Dragan Lukač said that police was exposed to attacks and criticism regarding its work and actions, especially last year, but that they will continue working in accordance with the law.
"We will not allow those attacks to weaken us, or attempts of different reforms that are being announced. Ministry of Interior of RS is stronger than that and it serves RS and all its citizens. Attack against police is a direct attack against RS," he said.
