SARAJEVO, March 25 (FENA) - Sarajevo will be the host of the 1st international meet up of tour operators from more than 100 countries from 28 March to 1 April.
The "Meet Up Sarajevo 2019" event will gather more than 200 travel agencies, including representatives of media outlets, at one of the biggest organized tourism promotions in Sarajevo held so far.
The project is implemented in the framework of the wider concept of representing and promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina as a tourist destination, and it is envisaged for the participants and guests of the Meet Up to visit Mostar, Blagaj and Počitelj.
This great presentation of several tourism aspects is realized in a project whose ultimate goal is to place Sarajevo on the map of the most attractive tourist destinations.
Sarajevo Mayor Abdulah Skaka today at a press conference expressed hope that the project will be a good start for a new approach to promoting the tourism potential of the capital, as well as the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Adnan Vlajčić from the Association of Tour Guides announced that the event will also include a gastronomy scene in Sarajevo’s Bravadžiluk street in Baščaršija.
