SARAJEVO, March 21 (FENA) - Director of the Southeast Europe Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Dejan Katračev and the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to BH Avgustina Cvetkova-Karabaševa visited yesterday the Service for Foreigners Affairs of BiH and on that occasion held a meeting with its leadership on the ongoing situation in the field of migration.
Director of the Service thanked the representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria for the signing of the Agreement on granting non-refundable financial assistance, through which the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria donated funds to the Service for the equipping of the Immigration Center in East Sarajevo.
Director Slobodan Ujić and Deputy Mirsad Buzar spoke with their guests about the current situation with the increased influx of migrants in BiH.
“Up to date in 2019, the Service processed and registered almost 3,000 migrants, which is a significant increase compared to the same period last year,” Ujić said.
