BANJA LUKA, February 17 (FENA) – President of Republika Srpska Željka Cvijanović and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to BiH Ji Ping met today and discussed current political and economic topics, in the light of enhancing economic and cultural cooperation of this entity of BiH and China.
Cvijanović emphasized that positive experience with Chinese companies in implementation of significant projects in area of transport infrastructure, energy and healthcare has led to greater interest of Chinese investors to invest in RS.
They emphasized that introduction of visa-free regime between China and BiH gives room to enhancement of cooperation in area of tourism and education, which would additional improve friendly relations between RS and China, Cabinet of the entity president stated.
They agreed that enhancement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest should remain the focus of relations between RS and China.
During the meeting, which was also attended by Chair of the BiH Presidency, views were exchanged on other current economic and political topics in RS and BiH, latest general elections and they all agreed they expect the government to be formed as soon as possible on all levels in BiH.
