SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš received today, in an inauguration visit, Ambassador the People’s Republic of China to BiH, Ji Ping, and the Military Envoy of the People's Republic of China to BiH, Brigadier Luo Tiefeng, with whom she discussed the successful cooperation between the two countries and about the possibilities of expanding that cooperation in the future.
Minister Pendeš pointed out the good cooperation between the two friendly countries and underlined that there are no outstanding issues burdening the relations.
The two sides discussed about the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Defense of BiH to PR China and the signed Agreement on military assistance between the Ministry of Defense of BiH and the Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China, which is in the implementation phase, and on overall economic cooperation that is on the rise as an important indicator of good cooperation.
Minister Pendeš thanked Chinese delegation for all the assistance and the overall contribution of PR China to the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH.
She also expressed gratitude for the support provided by the People's Republic of China to BiH in other areas, primarily in the field of economy and culture, stated the BiH Ministry of Defense.
