Journalist Jašarspahić files a complaint to the police for the received threats

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 12 (FENA) - Adnan Jašarspahić, a journalist from Visoko, has filed a complaint with the police against two persons for the threats against his life that he received on social networks, stated the BH Journalists Association.

Jašarspahić said that the persons who threatened him are the sons of the municipal mayor Amra Babić. Earlier, he also filed a complaint for the threats directed against him by her third son.

He claims that the threats were directed against him for critical reporting on the work of mayor Babić.

Police officers in Visoko have undertaken the necessary actions to document the event.

The Association of BH Journalists expects the law enforcement agencies to resolve this case as soon as possible, and if it is proved that the said persons are responsible, they need to be sanctioned adequately for threatening and targeting journalists while doing their job.
