SARAJEVO, January 23 (FENA) - The BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik received today the letters of credence from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to BiH Ulrike Hartmann.
The newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Austria, in her welcoming speech at the beginning of the ceremony, said that both countries have a long-shared history and that they have been closely linked for a very long time, at the level of political, economic and cultural cooperation.
Austria remains committed to supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina, as much as possible, on its path to the European Union in the years to come.
Chairman Dodik briefed Ambassador Hartmann about the ongoing situation in the country, with particular reference to the formation of the government at the state level.
Speaking of priorities in terms of the country's foreign policy, Dodik pointed out that there is a consensus among all political actors in BiH with regards to the EU path.
They agreed that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria have very good and friendly political relations, as well as overall cooperation without open issues.
At the end of the ceremony, Dodik wished the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Austria a successful diplomatic mandate in our country, stated the BiH Presidency.
