SARAJEVO, January 22 (FENA) - Delegations of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) held a meeting today to discuss the implementation of election results and concluded that it was necessary to constitute the state government as soon as possible.
After the meeting, Deputy President of SDA, Adil Osmanović, announced that the next meeting is to be held early February.
“We expressed the readiness of both political parties to participate in the work of the new convocation of the Council of Ministers, we have touched upon certain issues that we agree on, such as BiH's path to the EU,” Osmanović said.
Osmanović also noted that this first meeting was not used to talk about the distribution of ministerial positions, but that they agreed that the process should be accelerated.
“We opened up several questions, as there are a number of issues that we all agree on, but also there are issues on which we do not have consent, such as the activation of MAP with NATO, but we left this topic for February. There is also readiness to calm down the tensions and to move forward with the implementation of election results,” Osmanović stressed.
