Stanivuković, Dragičević charged with attempt of violent overthrow of authority

BANJA LUKA, January 15 (FENA) - Police officers of the Banja Luka Police Department submitted a report today against persons with initials D.S., D.D., and Z.D. on suspicion that they have committed the criminal offense of “calling for a violent change of the constitutional order of Republika Srpska.”

The report has allegedly been submitted to the RS Prosecutor's Office against Draško Stanivuković, Davor Dragičević and Željko Dabić, and the three of them are charged with committing criminal offenses on December 28 and 30.

As it is stated in the report, the three of them, “on December 28, 2018, in the home of a deputies of the PDP in the National Assembly of RS, Draško Stanivuković, organized a meeting at which they planned, invited and encouraged to use the approved public gathering on December  30 to support the group of citizens "Justice for David", in which citizens would be encouraged and called for the destruction and toppling of the RS's constitutional order and safety of ‘the country’, and urged for the overthrow of top government officials.”

 The police report states that “this would be done by violent occupation and takeover of the RTRS building."

As it is further stated in the report, “Stanivuković addressed the public with a request for the dismissal of the Minister of Interior Lukač and other representatives of the RS authorities, urging for a continued blockade of the institutions until their demands are met."
