Youth from 11 towns in BiH take part in 'Education through games' project

FENA Press release

BANJA LUKA, January 13 (FENA) - "Education through games" is a project of Navid Theater from Banja Luka, in which children and youngsters from 11 cities and municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the opportunity to learn about cultural differences during the project that will last from January to August 2019.

It is intended for children who are exposed to ethnic and other forms of segregation or discrimination on a daily basis in schools and to youngsters who are most affected by educational problems, ethnic tension, and divisions.

The aim of the project is to acquire and expand knowledge about the values of cultural diversity in BiH, and to connect children and young people with peers from other parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as to increase the participation and influence of young people on issues that affect the programs of intercultural development and reforms in BiH.

The project will be implemented throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, and special activities will take place in Banja Luka, Bugojno, Doboj, East Sarajevo, Kiseljak, Kreševo, Mostar, Sarajevo, Travnik, Tuzla and Usora.

The joint project "Dialogue for the Future" is an initiative of the Presidency of BiH and the United Nations (UNICEF, UNESCO, and UNDP), whose goal is long-term peacebuilding and improvement of social cohesion in BiH, announced the Navid Theater.
