High Representative Inzko visits Slovenia

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, January 8 (FENA) - The High Representative Valentin Inzko met Slovenian President Borut Pahor today in Ljubljana.

The HR informed Pahor about the current political developments in BiH and thanked for Slovenia’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They discussed the political situation, and the High Representative noted that negative trends still exist despite the clear need to continue working on the pressing socio-economic reforms and fighting organized crime and corruption.

High Representative also informed President Pahor on the state of play with regard to the formation of authorities in BiH.

“Once the authorities are formed, the BiH politicians should turn a new page and engage in serious reforms in order to improve the lives of BiH citizens”, said the HR.

The High Representative thanked Slovenia for its contribution to EUFOR, and expressed his appreciation for Slovenia’s continued support to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Euro-Atlantic integration path.

During his visit to Slovenia, the High Representative will also meet with the Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament, Dejan Zidan, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Miro Cerar, stated the OHR.
