BANJA LUKA, December 28 (FENA) – High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH (BiH HJPC) assessed that statements of Chair of BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, who attacked the integrity and workplace of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office, are inappropriate, said president of HJPC Milan Tegeltija.

“We find these statements absolutely inappropriate and we call all political actors to refrain and avoid remarks which could question integrity and independence of judicial institutions,” said Tegeltija.

After meeting with Chief Prosecutor of RS Mahmut Švraka and Chief Prosecutor of the District Attorney’s Office in Banja Luka Želimir Lepir, Tegeltija stated that representatives of these judicial institutions discussed their views on Dragičević case and perspectives, without entering the details, because HJPC does not have the power to interfere in any individual case which is led in judicial institutions in BiH.

Chair of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik announced yesterday that if there is no prosecution in case of murder of Banja Luka young man David Dragičević he will invite citizens to protest in front of Banja Luka District Public Prosecutor’s Office.
