FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, December 14 (FENA) - Creative and innovative potential of youth through entrepreneurship is key for securing smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of every society. Towards presenting positive and successful ideas by young innovators and entrepreneurs across BiH, the EU Info Center announced EU youth competition called "My Business Story".

Aim of the competition is to emphasize human potential and present new views of youth in labor market, how creative and successful their ideas are and how they can inspire future generations.

Richard Masa, Head of Cooperation Department of the EU Delegation to BiH presented awards to the winners.

"This country has extraordinary young people who work hard and that is not a surprise. It is important to give them opportunities and encourage them to do research, create and promote ideas. It is also important their stories are heard and shared with others to inspire and encourage as many young people from BiH as possible to work on their ideas and achieve their goals – that is the essence of this competition," said Maša.

Team of young innovators from Tuzla – Makerspace won first prize for presenting their invention – SOS bracelet Trace Brace.
