SARAJEVO, December 12 (FENA) - Lana Prlić, an MP in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Vice-President of the Social Democratic Party of BiH, reacted today to the holding of a debate on the adoption of the Declaration on the Status of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Croatian Parliament.
“If the Croatian government continues with such a devastating politics to the detriment of its own citizens, it will soon have to pass a resolution in its parliament concerning Ireland or Germany and therefore meddle into internal affairs and constitutional systems of those countries as well.
If the authorities in Croatia are guided by their anti-democratic and anti-European resolutions, then they should ban the voting right for more than 300,000 Croatian citizens who do not declare themselves to be Croats in the Republic of Croatia but still they have influence on the elections for the President of the Republic of Croatia,” stressed Prlić.
She pointed out that it is every citizen’s right to elect and be elected, and that any resolutions that deny that right to every citizen of BiH are nothing but anticivilization acts.
